At least 53 regular employees of Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC) have been deprived of adhoc relief.
The employees were regularised recently. These employees have demanded restoration of the special relief in their pays and the revision of their scales. A deduction of Rs 1,500 was made from the employees who included gardeners, watchmen, storekeepers, peons and car painters. The employees action committee has demanded that all the relief facilities should be restored.
