Supreme Court Tuesday rejected the bail plea of former Federal Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi in the Haj corruption case.
According to a private television channel, the Federal Counsel K.K. Agha in his arguments said that the federation opposes the bail pleas and it will not protect the corrupt people.
Earlier, Islamabad High Court had rejected the bail pleas filed by Hamid Saeed Kazmi and Religious Affairs Ministry Joint Secretary Aftabul Islam.
A two-member bench of the apex court heard the case.
