This is with reference to Mr Rehman Nasir’s letter on 30 July. Not all the people who are being brutally murdered in day to day target killings are “common people”. Many of them are businessmen, industrialists, engineers, doctors etc. Recently, my uncle and my cousin were targeted near their house while they were on their way back to home. My uncle acted wisely and quickly to save his life from those heartless creatures.
It is very shameful for the so-called lawmakers and the law enforcement agencies of the country that such people are still roaming around on the streets like free citizens. The government should take immediate action to stop this act before it is too late.
It is a plea on behalf of each and every citizen of Karachi to the city district government and other relevant authorities to please bring back the city of lights to its original state and status.
