ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Monday that the Rehber Committee’s strings are being pulled from inside the jails.

Addressing a press conference, Firdous said that Jamiat-e-Ulema-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman is using young students for his own political gain and everyone is well aware of his tactics and won’t be fooled by him.

“Rehber Committee itself needs guidance,” she added.

“In Sindh, the law and order situation is at the lowest and people are dying due to starvation and different diseases,” she said.

Opposition leaders’ children did not want to come to Pakistan but they were using others’ children for politics, she added.

“The entire nation will observe ‘Black Day’ in solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren. They are part of Pakistan and won’t be left alone,” Firdous said.

While applauding Pakistan Army, she said that India’s false narrative about destroying three camps in Azad Jammu and Kashmir was very effectively exposed.

Indian troops were given a befitting response from Pakistan’s side over their continuous violation of ceasefire along with the Line of Control (LOC).

She said that the entire nation is united over the ongoing issue of Kashmir.
