ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Saturday that former Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh has accepted Pakistan’s invitation to attend the Kartarpur Corridor’s opening event scheduled for November this year.
The foreign minister was addressing reporters, where he said that the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur Corridor will be held as per the schedule.
FM Qureshi said that there is a clear message for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi: “Stop us if you can.”
The foreign minister further said that even if the former Indian prime minister wants to attend the ceremony as a common man then he will still be warmly welcomed.
Qureshi further said that high-quality arrangements have been done for Sikh pilgrims, adding that PM Imran will inaugurate the corridor on November 9.
