13 millimeters of rain was recorded in the provincial on Saturday. The Met office said mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country today (Sunday), however isolated rain with thundershower is expected in upper Punjab (Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Faisalabad), upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar, Kohat, Malakand and Hazara), NE Balochitan (Quetta and Zhob), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Rain on the weekend compelled the citizens to make the most out of the wonderful weather as they rushed to recreational parks and restaurants. 72 percent of humidity was recorded in the city on Saturday morning whereas 67 percent in the evening. Various roads and low lying areas were inundated after the rain which made commutation difficult for many.
