Four unarmed dacoits looted a bank within the limits of the Sihala Police Station on Friday. The police reported that the four dacoits took away Rs. 25 million from the Habib Bank Sohan branch. The dacoits had overpowered the security guard, snatched his gun and held the bank staff hostage while they took the cash.
The dacoits escaped from the scene in a white Corolla XLI car. Police reached the scene after getting information and cordoned off the area to conduct a search operation but failed to arrest the dacoits. The police registered an FIR against unknown people.
