Police nab UET entry test leak culprits

Gujjarpura Investigation Police arrested the main accused, a BSc Honours student at University of Engineering and Technology, of the entry test leak case for emailing the paper to more than eighteen people, a lab assistant and seven beneficiaries of the paper. The investigation of the case and all eleven arrested accused in the case were handed over to anti corruption department for further inquiry.
As per details a team of Gujjarpura Investigations Police headed by Incharge Investigaton Mehdi Kazmi on special directions of SP Investigations Civil Lines Capt (r) Liaqat in a late night development on Wednesday arrested a BSc honors student, namely Naseer. Sources said Naseer was the main accused of the case, who emailed the entry test paper to around 17 to 18 people, adding that the police arrested him after seeing the video recording of CCTV cameras installed in the net café of already arrested accused Shuja Zaidi.
Sources said the video recording of the CCTV camera at net café indicated flats located in the same area with a name of Eden Heights and the police collected the college identity cards of the students residing in the flats located in Eden Heights Plaza.
