KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a hotel owner who threw hot tea on the body of a child employee at the hotel in North Nazimabad.
Ahsanullah threw hot tea on the body of a child worker Bakhat Ali, resulting in severe burn injuries.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident after the footage of the incident went viral on the social media.
Police said an FIR had been registered on behalf of Ali’s parents and the accused would be produced before the court for physical remand.
