THARPARKAR: Three men kidnapped and gang-raped a 14-year-old girl in Dalan-Jo-Tar, a village on the city’s outskirts, police told media.
Police also said that the men involved in this gruesome act also taped this entire ordeal.
The main suspect lured the girl from her village and then took her to an empty house situated outside the village near the fields, two other accomplices were already waiting there and gang-raped her, police added.
Initial findings of the case revealed that the girl and suspect belong to the same community. One of the suspects, Qubool Rahmo, was arrested after police registered a first information report (FIR) of the sexual assault.
Area’s station house officer (SHO), Majid Qaimkhani, said that a medical test of the girl was conducted and results have given indications of gang-rape.
Further investigation is on-going in the case.
