ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued written order to produce the former president Asif Ali Zardari in the next hearing, media reported.
The order was signed by Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.
The order read that investigation officer of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should appear before the court along with complete records in the next hearing.
“Asif Ali Zardari was not arrested in connection with Park Lane case,” as per order.
NAB prosecutor argued in the court that four first investigation reports (FIR) were lodged against the former president and in one of the FIR his bail was suspended by the court.
The court ordered concerned authorities to produce Zardari tomorrow in the court.
The order issued by the court also warned that no further delay by NAB will be acceptable.
IHC Registrar Branch released production order of Zardari following the written order.
The production order released by IHC Registrar Branch stated that Zardari should be presented on June 26.
