The opposition parties will meet on June 26 at a multi-party conference to chalk out a future course of action against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Saturday.
The opposition leaders decided to convene a multi-party moot in an Iftar dinner hosted by the PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif will represent PML-N, while Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will be represented by its chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari at the moot, which will be chaired by JUI-F chief Fazl.
Besides coming up with a joint strategy against the government, the opposition parties will also discuss in detail to send Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani packing, who was brought into power by the powers-that-be with the help of PPP.
The multi-party conference will also discuss how to shoot down PTI budget, in addition to locking down the federal capital in protest against the government.
