The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday submitted in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) the details of movable and immovable property of former president Pervez Musharraf, the accused of PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto’s murder case.
The hearing of the case was held in the court of ATC Judge Shahid Rafique at Adiala Jail. The FIA told the court that Musharraf had a plot in Sanghar Housing Society at Gwader, measuring 100 square yards while the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) had not yet provided the exact detail of his property.
The FIA officials further told the court that they had written a letter to Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and the General Headquarters (GHQ) to provide details about Musharraf’s property and response from them was still awaited.
During the last hearing, the FIA had stated that Pervez Musharraf did not own any property in Rawalpindi, however, he had a farmhouse in Islamabad while some agricultural land located at Kotha Kalan, Rawalpindi, was in the name of his wife, Begum Sehba Musharraf.
Earlier, the ATC had observed that the provided detail was not sufficient, directing the FIA to present the details of the property owned by the accused.
