Pakistan Women beat South Africa by eight wickets in first ODI

Potchefstroom: Pakistan women cricket team defeated South Africa in first One-Day International (ODI) in Potchefstroom on Monday.

This is green shirts’ first ODI victory against the Proteas and biggest in term of balls-remaining.

Batting first South Africa got all out on 62 in 22.5 over. Pakistan chased the target in 14.4 overs with the loss of just two wickets.

Sharing the news, ICC tweeted: “Pakistan Women beat South Africa by eight wickets, with 35.2 overs to spare!  It’s their biggest-ever ODI win in terms of balls remaining, and their first-ever victory in South Africa. An incredible performance.”
