Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed to plant five billion trees under his billion tree tsunami drive whereas not even 100 million were planted.

“It must have been slip of tongue,” she quipped.

The PML-N leader said Imran had misinformed about his Billion Tree Tsunami Programme as 90 per cent of his billion trees were missing in the project.

While reacting to a media report on the Billion Tree Tsunami project, the PML-N spokesperson sarcastically asked if five billion trees are being planted on the same planet where he is constructing five milllion houses. She said that the PM has brought only billion lies to the nation.

Marriyum said that the 23-year-long drama of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader is unfolding in front of the nation. “Thank you, Imran Khan, for not claiming that you made a faster-than-speed-of-light metro in Peshawar,” she added.
