The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) hosted a tea party at the Kayani Hall of the bar premises on Friday, which was attended by LHC Acting Chief Justice (CJ) Sheikh Azmat Saeed and other judges.
LHCBA President Asghar Ali Gill, along other office-bearers, welcomed the judges. The judges and lawyers discussed possible ways to further improve good relations between the bench and the bar like it had been in the past in Justice Kayani’s tenure.
The party continued for around half an hour from 10:30 am to 11am, which is normally tea break time for judges. LHCBA Vice-President Mian Jahangir, Secretary Arshad Malik Awan and Finance Secretary Mian Azam were present on the occasion while Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Justice Shahid Saeed, Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan, Justice Asad Munir, Justice Sagheer Ahmad Qadri, Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh, Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan, Justice Qasim Khan, Justice Abdul Waheed Khan, Justice Ameer Bhatti and Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan also graced the occasion.
