Renowned singer Uzair Jaswal galvanised the audience with his enchanting tracks and soulful voice during an event held recently by Oppo at the historic Mohatta Palace in Karachi.
The young musician performed some of his most noteworthy, hit and popular tracks, like “Tere bin” and “Sajna”, much to the amusement of those in attendance. Jaswal also performed on famous Bryan Adams’ tracks, engaging the audience and embracing the summer night with enthusiasm.
Actors Nabeel Zuberi and Iqra Aziz were also among the attendees, adding glamour and spark to the night’s festive atmosphere. The event, hosted by former supermodel Natasha, kicked off with the grand official launch of Oppo F11 and Oppo Pro.
One of the highlights of the event was its venue, the historic Mohatta Palace, which offered a breathtaking view, with a mesmerizing light show and low light décor. It featured an exhibition of pictures shot on Oppo F11 Pro by leading photographers Ashna Khan, Rehan Qazi and Seemab Saqib. Among several notables, the event was also attended by different lifestyle and tech bloggers, nationwide media and Oppo partners.
In Pakistan, it is seldom that events of such magnitude are held at historical places. More events in places like the beautiful Mohatta Palace can pave the way for other historic places in the country.
Talking to this scribe, some members of the audience suggested that the Lahore Fort should also be commercialised in a way that it gets cleaned up and the authorities of the Walled City allow events to take place there.
Earlier, while briefing the audience about the specifications of the newly-launched Oppo F11 and F11 Pro, an Oppo official said the F11 series has been upgraded from being a selfie expert to portrait master, featuring a 48-megapixel image sensor to provide users with an unprecedented night photography experience. In addition, he added, the F11 Pro boasts an uninterrupted full-screen display made possible by a hidden front camera module.
The Chinese telecom company also reiterated its commitment to establish a strong foothold in Pakistan.
