RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army on Tuesday announced a number of appointments and transfers in its higher echelons.
According to the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt. General Faiz Hameed has been posted as Adjutant-General at the General Headquarters, Lt. General Azhar Abbas as Director General Joint Staff, and Lt. General Nauman has been given the charge of Inspector General Communications and Information Technology.
Meanwhile Lt. General Sahir will continue his responsibilities as Vice Chief of General Staff, while Lt. General Adnan has been posted as Commander Bahawalpur Corps.
Earlier this month, 40 brigadiers, including 11 from Pakistan Army Medical Corps, were promoted to the rank of major general.
