Stray kite string badly injured a two and half years old boy in the Shadbagh Police precincts on Friday. The victim was identified as Muhammad Umer resident of Chah Meeran located in Shadbagh Police Area. According to details Muhammad Umer was sitting on roof top of his house when suddenly a stray kite string got entangles around him neck and badly injured him by cutting his throat. Family of Umer after seeing him bleeding heavily rushed him to Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital where doctors provided Umer with health care and later stated him to be stable.
Man killed over property dispute: Jehangir, 50, a resident of China Scheme, was shot dead by three men over a property dispute in the Gujjarpura police precincts on Friday. Police said Jehangir was standing outside his house when the three accused opened fire on him. Jehangir suffered fatal wounds and succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. Gujjarpura Police has registered a case against Ramzan, Shahbaz and an unidentified man on the complaint of victim’s wife Abida. Separately, Shafi Masih, 65, a resident of Model Colony was found dead from his flat under mysterious circumstances in the Factory Area police precincts on Friday.
Neighbours traced the body of Masih, a gardener, and informed the police.
