The annual junior sports competitions, which were held at various state-of-the-art sports arenas of the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, were concluded after five days of hectic and intense competitions in football, golf, cricket, tennis, swimming, squash, fitness and martial arts. In the football, the team comprising Afnan Shahid, Azan Tanveer, Taha Hameed, Zain Tariq and Hamza Tariq dribbled their hearts out to emerge victorious over the fighting combination of Ismail Elahi, Mujtaba Amjad, Ali Mikael Qizilbash, Muhammad bin Asim and Musa. The golf was dominated by Hamza Irfan, Ahmad Yar, Easa Sheikh, Zainab Haroon, Bilal Mustafa, Hamza Shiraz and Zara Irfan.
Muhammad Hussain Javed and Saad Nawaz in boys while Zarnab Ansari and Zainab Mansoor in girls were the impressive players in tennis. The cricketing top notchers were Ali Turab, Ibrahim, Momin Saigol, Abdul Nafay, Anis Kamal and Waleed Khalid. The swimming produced some notable talent in freestyle event and Ismail Najeeb Vohar, Haider Aziz Sheikh, Taha Zafar and Asfandyar were the names in the boys section while Abeer Tanveer, Rushna Shoaib, Sarah Tajjamal Hussain and Saba Rana amongst girls.
The martial arts was dominated by Sibtain Raza and Sheryar Hamayun while leading ones in fitness were Talha Yousaf, Rana Junaid, Alizay Jibran and Palvashay Shehryar. The squash competition was won by Asad Tajjamal while Haider Ali Abbasi was the runners up. The top performers were awarded prizes in a grand prize distribution ceremony and Qalco chief Rana N Fuad distributed prizes along with Royal Palm General Manager Omar Mir.
