Two high-intensity bomb explosions rocked Amir Hamza Shinwari Complex in Landi Kotal area of Khyber agency on the mid night between Thursday and Friday. The explosion destroyed the boundary wall of the complex. However, grave of the late great Pashto poet and library remain safe.
It is the first attempt of targeting the complex, constructed along with grave of late Pashto poet. Shinwari is respected by Pakhtuns in Pakistan and Afghanistan irrespective of their religious and political faiths and affiliation. The tribesmen from all over Khyber Agency Friday visited the damaged site and denounced the explosion in strong words.
