QUETTA: At least two people were killed and two others injured when unidentified armed men opened fire inside the hujra of a mosque here Saturday-Sunday midnight.
Police said that unknown miscreants barged into hujra of a mosque located in Goharabad area, Sariab Road, Quetta and opened indiscriminate fire at people present there.
As a result of firing two people including Abdul Haye and Abdul Aziz were killed on the spot while Noor Ahmad and Zafarullah were critically injured.
The assailants fled the scene after committing dual murder and injuring two others.
The FC and police cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation for the attackers but they managed to escape.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medico-legal formalities.
The police after registering a case against unidentified assailants have started an investigation.
