KARACHI: Two prisoners were injured when a roof portion of Karachi’s Central Jail collapsed on Wednesday.
According to police sources, a roof portion of jail’s barracks in a Security Ward No- I of the jail collapsed. As a result, two prisoners, including an advertising company’s CEO Gulzar Ahmed, were injured.
Police said high-profile suspects such as officials of Information department Sindh and CEO of an advertising company, were imprisoned at this ward.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
