Fourteen illegal immigrants died of suffocation while traveling to Greece illegally in a container through Iran on Wednesday. Five of them belonged to Daska tehsil, while the rest, namely Muhammad Bilal, Luqman Yousaf, Zulqad Iqbal, Muhammad Imran, Pervaiz, Waseem Abbas, Ihsan Ali, Dildar Ahmed, Tasswar Abbas and Muhammad Ameen hailed from various other areas. Six other illegal immigrants were reported missing. Ghulam Abbas told reporters that an agent named Zahid had taken Rs 450,000 each from 20 boys to transport them to Greece. He said Zahid had told him the boys would be traveling in a container. When they were near the Iranian city of Shairaz, 14 of the boys died of suffocation while six were still missing, he added.
