NAROWAL: A minor student was injured and hospitalized after brutally tortured by a teacher on Saturday.
According to details, a six-year-old student of class two, was brutally tortured by class teacher in government primary school of Tula, tehsil Sharkargarh in Narowal.
The student was injured and fell unconscious due to torture and shifted to a hospital were according to hospital sources his 17 per cent body suffered wounds due to torture.
Despite complaint of the heirs, the police were reluctant to register FIR against the influential school teacher and take action against him.
Heirs of the torture victim-students have appealed the Punjab Chief Minister and Education Minister to take notice of the incident and direct strict action against the brutal teacher.
