National Highway Authority Chairman Syed Muhammad Ali Gardezi has said that the financial crunch, through which NHA is passing nowadays, needs to be tackled with the best management skills and financial discipline. He was addressing a meeting held here at NHA HQs. Member Administration Naseer Ahmad Rana briefed the Chairman on various administrative aspects of workings of the authority.
Syed Muhammad Ali Gardezi said that scarcity of resources has led NHA into such a situation where its important projects are being affected. He directed to take austerity measures and decrease non-developmental expenditure so that the available funds can be used efficiently. He also stressed upon manpower training and skill development of NHA employees.
