Last 24 hours relatively calm at LoC

RAWALPINDI: The situation at the Line of Control (LoC) remained relatively calm during the last 24 hours, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

According to the military’s media wing, the Indian Army fired in Hot Spring Sector, deliberately targeting the civilian population. Resultantly, a citizen named Sharafat (26) S/O Abdul Qayyum, a resident of village Dara Sher Khan got injured.

Pakistan Army troops effectively responded on Indian posts undertaking the fire. In the maritime domain, the Pakistan Navy continued its effective vigilance and alertness. Pakistan Navy detected an Indian Navy submarine south of Pakistani coast and displaying its capability to deter and safeguard the seafront against any misadventure, Pakistan Navy acted quickly.

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) also continued its vigilance and state of readiness.
