Pakistan’s top tennis player Ushna Suhail has reached the singles and doubles quarter-finals of the Amman International Tennis Tournament in Jordan. Pakistan’s national champion Ushna is second seed of the event. In singles, Ushna defeated Rheeya Doshi of Singapore in straight sets by 6-2, 6-2 to reach the quarterfinals.
Ushna displayed aggressive tennis from the beginning and with powerful baseline strokes combined with net game, she dominated the match. In semifinals Ushna will face the winner of Simran Kaur Sethi from India and Rebecca Smaller from Britain. In doubles event Ushna and her partner Zixian Zhang from China have reached the quarterfinals.
