LAHORE: The personal physician of incarcerated prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said that the medical board formed by the Punjab government will take a decision on conducting angiography of the patient.
Dr Adnan said this after meeting Nawaz at Jinnah Hospital.
Dr Adnan told reporters that the medical board and Allama Iqbal Medical College Principal Dr Arif Tajammul were authorised to give final recommendations regarding the health of Nawaz Sharif. He added that they will follow the decision made by the medical board for Nawaz’s angiography. He said that the government will be responsible if Nawaz Sharif’s health condition worsened.
It is pertinent to mention here that no decision was made so far regarding treatment of cardiac issues to former premier for the ninth day.
