LAHORE: The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) on Thursday registered 134 cases of traffic violations.
According to officials, PHP teams seized 85 motorcycles for using fake registration or green number plates.
The teams also apprehended seven gamblers and recovered stake money amounting to Rs9,180 besides other precious items. PHP Post Ghazi Ghat arrested four persons for selling illegal Iranian fuel and also recovered 320 litres of fuel from them.
Eight persons under violation of sound system act while three bike riders on charges of one-wheeling were also arrested.
Furthermore, the PHP teams held 36 persons for using prohibited gas cylinders.
