DUBAI: Former star Australian all-rounder Shane Watson in a recent interview has said that he is seeking the trophy for Quetta Gladiators – his Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise.
“I am positive about my team landing the title this edition,” he said while talking to a local media outlet in Dubai.
Comparing the quality of PSL with that of other premier leagues, the former Aussie captain said that “PSL is a quality league as it has top-notch Pakistani players”.
“I will try my level best to buildup on my last [PSL] performance,” Watson replied when asked about his performance.
Watson, who will not be participating in the Pakistan-leg of the tournament, said that he has “personal reasons behind the decision”.
“I have a couple of things lined-up,” he added.
