Rana Fawad is known for his outspoken attachment to his team, often seen visibly upset or jumping in excitement during the matches of Qalandars.

“I can’t suppress my expressions in cricket, especially when it comes to Lahore. I love Lahore and everything attached to it. So I get too excited during a good moment in the game or even on the team’s theme songs,” he once said during an interview. “I am a common man like anybody else. I don’t know where the cameras are set, and I just go with whatever expression comes to me after I’ve seen a good cricketing moment.”

Meanwhile, Qalandars held their second practice session ahead of PSL 4 with an aim to prepare themselves for different match scenarios.

“We are doing this practice so that players can understand how to perform according to match situation. This provides you an opportunity to know that which player is suitable for which scenario,” Aaqib told journalists.

Ahead of the session, the players also received pep talk from captain Mohammad Hafeez who informed the players about their responsibilities.

“We expect you to give 100 percent in the ground,” Hafeez told the players.

Qalandars will have a rest day on Sunday before resuming their practice from Monday.

They are also scheduled to play a warm-up match against Peshawar Zalmi before taking on Islamabad United on the opening day of PSL.
