HYDERABAD: Vice Chancellor of University of Sindh Jamshoro Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat has called upon the students to venture into private enterprise instead of depending merely on the government-sector employment options to secure a bright future.

He stated this while addressing an orientation programme for youth organized by Skills and Career Development Centre at Sindh University Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) on Friday.

The vice chancellor said this is the time of borderless business through online entrepreneur initiatives. “Today, we inhabit a world which has gone borderless and paperless in terms of career choices and office management; hence youth should acquire commensurate skills to excel in the modern markets,” he emphasised.

Chief Executive Officer of Skills and Career Development Centre (SCDC) Ghulam Qadir Mallah elaborated upon themes of workshop focusing on teamwork management, CV writing and interview skills, cloud computing, health risk management, JAVA frameworks, Microsoft dot net, oracle database and other youth-relevant skills students.

Director IICT Prof Dr Imdad Ali Ismaili and SU IICT-Focal Person for USSCDC Dr Kamran Taj Pathan also spoke on the occasion.
