Pakistan swimmers made to wait

The fate of Pakistan swimming team will be decided today as they would be issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for participation in the 14th FINA World Swimming Championship which began in China.
The team is due to fly out on July 18.
The tournament already began on July 16 and would be continue till July 31. Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF), Secretary Majid Wasim said on Sunday that the PSF submitted the application to the PSB 12 weeks ago though the period of processing applications was only six weeks, but he could not understand why it had been delayed so much. Majid said that an NOC was required for the participation of the team in the event.
