Punjab govt reviews security arrangements for PSL 4

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar presided over a high-level meeting at his office in Lahore on Wednesday in which security-related matters and arrangements of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) fourth edition were reviewed in detail.

Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said that Punjab government will make the best arrangements of PSL 4 matches to be played in Lahore and foolproof security will be provided to the players.

He said that the Punjab government will extend every possible support to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and best facilities will be arranged for the cricket enthusiasts.

He directed that match-related arrangements should be better than previous year and all the departments concerned should perform their duties with best coordination and diligence.

The chief minister directed the Cabinet Committee for Law and Order to regularly monitor the security arrangements of the matches.

PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani, ACS (Home), CCPO Lahore, Commissioner Lahore Division and officials concerned attended the meeting.
