–CM orders authorities to enforce complete ban on kite flying, seeks report from Lahore CPO

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that his government is on a public service agenda and will not allow anyone to hurdle the voyage of change.

Talking to different delegations at the CM Office, he said national resources were previously wasted on so-called development projects, adding that the current government has opted concrete steps for the welfare of the common man in short time and Pakistan is moving forward to its lost destination under the vibrant leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

CM Buzdar said that development of the people of Punjab will be pursued at any cost and the PTI government has devised a detailed plan for the fulfillment of basic necessities.

“Reforms are being introduced in education, health and other social sectors,” he said. “PTI government has provided resources to bring comfort in the life of common man.”

The chief minister hoped that Pakistan will touch the heights of glory under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that the public-friendly policies of the PTI have made it the most favourite political party.

He said that victory of Aamir Sultan Cheema in the polls depicts confidence of the people in PTI.

He said that the people have once again voted for new Pakistan and their votes are a stamp on it. “Victory of Aamir Sultan Cheema is recognition of agenda of change,” he said.

KITE FLYING BAN:

CM Buzdar took notice of injury of two people due to kite twine in the factory area and sought a report from the Lahore CPO. He has conveyed displeasure over the reports of kite flying and directed to ensure complete ban over it.

“Strict action will be taken against violators without any discrimination,” he said and ordered the authorities to provide best medical facilities to those who got injured in these incidents.

Buzdar, in his message on World Cancer Day, said that an effective awareness campaign to remain safe from cancer is very important as its diagnosis at the earlier stage is treatable.

He said that comprehensive steps are imperative for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients and the government is providing facilities to them. He said, “Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital is an exemplary medical facility for patients.”
