KARACH: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair on Thursday slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan for comparing Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar with former cricketer Wasim Akram stating that it is an insult to the legendary bowler.
Earlier, the prime minister has compared the chief minister with former cricketers stating that as a captain, he himself selected players who went on to become superstars like Inzamamul Haq and Wasim Akram, and the case of Buzdar is no different.
Criticising the comment, Zubair said that it is an insult to the king of swing.
Talking to media persons outside Kot Lakhpat in Lahore, the former Sindh governor said that ruling party is playing a very dangerous game in Sindh. “These types of games can lead to very dangerous results. Their leader is asking them to imprison Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah,” he said.
“The people who said we will create 10 million jobs are now in minus. The whole team is responsible for the performance. If the captain is fake then what we can expect from the team,” he said.
