–Zeeshan’s brother Ehtisham says he was enlisted in Dolphin Force a year ago, questions verification process at the time of hiring
Authorities in Punjab are once again in the spotlight regarding the killing of four people by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on GT Road near Sahiwal on Saturday.
Among the four killed was a man identified as Zeeshan, who the police claimed was a terrorist.
However, Zeeshan’s brother Ehtisham has claimed that he works in the Dolphin Force and that authorities must have done background checks on him and his family when he joined the force.

“I am Zeeshan’s younger brother. I am a part of the Dolphin Force. I have been serving for close to two years. Did they not perform any verification or background checks when I joined?” Ehtisham said.
” I provided Zeeshan’s CNIC copy when I joined the force. Why did they hire a ‘terrorists’ brother?” he added.
The same question was raised in other quarters as well.
“Is it true that Zeeshan’s brother joined the Dolphin force about a year back and his brother and the whole family were vetted as is the routine? Did the police not discover Zeeshan’s association then. The CTD killed him yesterday in Sahiwal saying he was a ‘Daesh’ man in Sahiwal,” Journalist Abbas Nasir tweeted.
