Soldier martyred in exchange of fire with Indian forces

RAWALPINDI: A 35-year-old Pakistani soldier, Sepoy Fazal Elahi, embraced martyrdom on Wednesday night when Indian forces initiated unprovoked firing in Khuiratta Sector along the Line of Control (LoC), to which Pakistan responded befittingly, inflicting heavy losses to the Indian side.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian Army had deliberately targeted the civilian population in Kotkotera Sector. Due to indiscriminate firing in Phalni Bazar, a 34-year-old man suffered critical injuries.
Pakistan Army responded effectively and targeted those Indian posts which had initiated fire.
In Hotspring Sector, Pakistan Army shot down an Indian Army quadcopter. The quadcopter had come 100 meters inside Pakistan’s territory. The unprovoked act was responded to in a befitting manner. In 2020, 16 Indian quadcopters have been shot down by Pakistan Army.
