Actor and producer Fahad Mustafa has announced his upcoming drama series made for ARY that seeks to tell a story from the COVID-19’s point of view.
“Yes, there is a worldwide movement against the virus but we feel that there is also a need to look at things from the perspective of the virus,” said Mustafa, while speaking to reporters.
“Yes, it is killing a whole lot of people, but is it also unnecessarily being tarred for a lot of things that it shouldn’t be? Also yes,” he said. “And from that comes the title, Badnaam which means that the virus is actually..oh, okay, you get it.”
The upcoming drama serial has already started getting a considerable amount of criticism online, primarily from the families of victims of the Coronavirus bit also from society at large.
“It is not my job to be politically correct,” said Mustafa. “I am here to tell a story, this story and I will not be bullied by some social justice warriors into submission.”
The actor then died from Covid-related complications.
