ISLAMABAD: Needlessly dragging the prestigious, esteemed, and honourable institutions of the country into politics, Prime Minister Imran Khan said the opposition wanted to create a rift between the government and armed forces, and get closer themselves, just like he had done when he was in the opposition.
Talking to The Dependent, PM Khan maintained that he completely understands the tactics that the opposition is deploying, but they don’t faze him.
“This shameless opposition is doing exactly what I did in the opposition. This is what every party has done as the opposition throughout the history of the country,” he said.
“But they will not succeed. I have no fear of the opposition, because I am ready to go for by-elections in the country, which I will win just like I won the general elections,” the premier warned.
PM Khan categorically denied allegations that he was unaware of the meetings that he has had with the esteemed leadership.
“It is absolutely incorrect that I don’t get invited to the meetings. I do get invited, I know when the meetings are, and I totally know what happens during those meetings,” he clarified.
At press time, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan reiterated to the opposition that he knows everything and that jo kehta hai wohi hota hai.
