ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal has said that the anti-graft body is committed for eradication of corruption from national institutions to ensure the development of country.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday, the NAB chief stressed the need for self-accountability to eliminate the menace of corruption from the society.
He said that corruption is the biggest obstacle in the way of progress and prosperity that needs to be dismantled.
Justice (r) Iqbal said that the bureau is working diligently to resolve the issues being faced by the general public.
On the occasion, the NAB chief also distributed cheques amounting over twenty-four crore rupees among the affectees of Modaraba scam.
