ISLAMABAD: Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry announced on Tuesday that the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) will carry out a joint study to fund the effects of coronavirus on the domestic industries.
In a series of tweets, Chaudhry wrote: “Pakistan Science foundation and HEC are launching a joint study to ascertain how coronavirus will effect Pakistani industry, which new industries will emerge and which will collapse.”
Chaudhry said that the HEC, upon the conclusion of the study, will issue guidelines to universities to bring relevant changes in their programmes.
