BAJAUR: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Mufti Sultan Muhammad was injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire at him in the Mamund subdivision of Bajaur District.
According to a local journalist, the attack was targeted.

District Police Officer (DPO) Pir Shahab Ali said that the incident took place outside the Barkli Mosque in the Badan area early in the morning while he was on his way to the mosque. “The JUI-F leader received three bullets,” he said.
Shahab said that a comprehensive search operation has been launched to apprehend the suspects.
