KHANPUR: A man and woman were killed over the notorious rite of Karo-Kari near Khanpur on Tuesday.
Nizam Atrani Jatoi, along with his accomplices, shot dead his wife Manzooran and his community man Ghulam Hussain Jatoi after leveling allegations of Karo-kari against them in a locality near Cheman Sakarpur in Khanpur taluka. The accused fled after committing the crime.
The bodies were shifted to Khanpur hospital for autopsies and later handed over to the heirs. The police have started search for the culprits.
