ABBOTABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday during his visit to the Baloch Regiment Center in Abbottabad appointed Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas as the new Colonel Commandant of the Baloch.
During the visit, the army chief laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhuda and paid tribute to martyred soldiers of the Baloch Regiment of Pakistan army.
Gen Bajwa also said that in external security operations, the performance of the Baloch regiment was exemplary.
