RAWALPINDI: At least two suspected terrorists reportedly blew themselves up with explosives after a failed attack on a security checkpost in Loralai on Friday, according to the Pakistan Army’s media wing.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the unidentified suspects allegedly ambushed a security checkpost located in Loralai but the security officials thwarted the attack and returned fire.
Officials said that the terrorists blew themselves up when the security forces besieged them. The officials further said that two security personnel sustained bullet injuries during exchange of fire with the suspected terrorists.
Earlier on September 4, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and security forces in a joint operation had killed six terrorists in Quetta.
