Six dead, over 30 injured as passenger bus overturns in Naushahro Feroze


NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Six pilgrims of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai shrine were killed and 30 others injured in a road accident in Moro on Wednesday.

The pilgrims were returning to Sukkur from Bhitshah in a bus when it overturned after going out of driver’s control. As a result, three pilgrims died on the spot and over 30 were injured, some of them seriously.

The bodies and injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Moro for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively. Three of the injured expired at the hospital. Four of them were later referred to Nawabshah for further treatment.

Those killed were identified as Shaukat Shaikh, Mumtaz Shaikh, Dolan Shaikh, Deedar Abbasi, Ameer Bux and Abdullah. The injured include Haji Abdullah, Farman, Barkat and others.
