ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday that a team can’t win if only the captain is competent. Performance of every player matters and contributes to the success, he added.
Nisar said this while talking to media in Taxila and further added,” Economic policies introduced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) failed to garner desired results and now Pakistan has been plunged into problems with no remedy in sight.”
“A government can not work on slogans alone,” he said.
He added that silence is better in times like these when sane voices are being sidelined.
“Pakistan was doing fine only a year ago and now it seems as if everything is embroiled in issues. National politics has become merely a joke,” he told the media.
“Anyone who tries to act on some principles or act upright is considered not right for the profession of politics,” he added.
“Indian premier is an enemy of Islam and how can an enemy of Islam be favourable to Pakistan? I said this multiple times that Modi can never be a friend of Pakistan,” he said while answering a question related to the ongoing IOK issue.
While commenting on the possibility of local bodies elections, he said that this government will never conduct them.
“Things have deteriorated to an extent that now whoever comes in power to govern won’t be able to do it,” Nisar concluded.
