The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has finalised references against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former finance minister Miftah Ismail and former PSO managing director Sheikh Imranul Haq in the LNG case.
According to a news channel, Inter-State Gas Systems Managing Director Mubin Saulat and former petroleum secretary Abid Saeed, who became an approver in the LNG corruption case, recorded their statements before NAB officials on Monday. The two also submitted all relevant evidence with the investigators.
An accountability court on September 26 had sent Abbasi and Ismail to Adiala jail on judicial remand.
Earlier on September 11, NAB Karachi had requested to file a reference against Abbasi.
